ARTWORK LOCK
The AI never touches your artwork
1 · We shoot a blank
Your garment, in your color, with a flat placeholder patch where the print goes. Your file stays with us.
2 · AI builds the scene
Model, place and light are generated new around that blank. The AI never sees your design.
3 · We print your file on it
Your exact file goes onto the patch with the fabric folds and light. Nothing is redrawn.
Simplified illustration on a drawn backdrop. The placeholder patch is tinted so you can see where the print goes; in the tool, step 2 is a new AI photo.
How it worksHow it differs from mockup templates
Your art stays exact
The AI only makes the photo. Your file is printed in afterwards, so lettering, line weights and colors match your file.
Scenes nobody else has
Template sites reuse the same stock photos every shop uses. Every scene here is generated new, for your listing only.

Questions sellers ask
Will the AI change my design?
No. The AI never sees your file. It photographs a blank garment with a flat placeholder patch where the print goes, and then we print your actual file onto that patch with perspective and fabric shading only. That's why every line, letter and color in your mockup matches the file you uploaded.
Is it really free?
The flat mockup is free and unlimited for every garment and color, and its HD download is free once you enter your email. You also get 3 AI scene mockups a day with no signup, plus 3 bonus ones once with your email. Free scene results are watermarked previews at 1280 px. Clean HD scene files come with any pack.
Can I use these mockups on Etsy, Shopify or Amazon?
Yes, you can use them commercially, including in listings, ads and social posts. Marketplaces expect photos to show what buyers get, so pick the garment color and print spot that match the product you actually ship.
Are the models real people?
No. The models and scenes are AI-generated people and places that don't exist. No likeness of a real person is used, and you can't upload or choose a face.
What file should I upload?
A PNG with a transparent background at 3000 px or more on the long side gives the sharpest print. A JPG works too if the background is one solid color; we offer to remove a plain white background. The minimum is 800 px.
Do you keep my artwork?
Your file is stored privately so we can make your mockups. It's never used to train AI and it's deleted automatically after 30 days, along with your mockups.
Who owns the mockups?
You can use every mockup you make commercially. You need to own or license the design you upload; please don't upload other people's art, logos or trademarks.
Why did a scene fail the print check?
Sometimes the AI scene hides or bends the spot where your print goes, for example with an arm or a fold. When that happens we try once more automatically. If it fails again, we show nothing bad and you aren't charged.
Is this a subscription?
No. You buy a pack of mockups once. There is no auto-renew and credits never expire.
What size are the HD files?
Scene mockups download at about 2048 px on the long side as PNG or JPG, which fits Etsy and Shopify listing photos. Flat mockups download at 2400 px.
Can I show a back print?
Yes. Pick "Back" as the print spot and the scene list switches to scenes that can show a back: Back print on a model, Flat lay and Ghost mannequin.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Email hello@tshirtmockupai.com from the address you bought with.
